COACHING PHILOSOPHY

“An understanding that an excellent coach can bring both physical and mental benefits to riders, together with caring for the welfare of the horse is the foundation of my coaching philosophy.

I aim to create an environment for learning and progression for my riders and equestrian partnerships. I want to inspire in the way that I was inspired. Using my experience, knowledge and dedication, I aim to become the best I can be, so that I can be the motivational and positive coach that helps you to become your best self”.

  • “Since having Jane as my dressage coach I have improved so much physically and mentally in my riding.  She is fantastic at both coaching you in the long run for your future goals but equally for the horse you have in that precise moment and for help in what you can do outside of lessons.  Always on the look out for more things to learn.  Jane is always striving to help improve you and your horse in new ways!”

  • Beginning my dressage journey with Jane Randall was an absolute pleasure and a transformative experience. Taking up a new skill as an adult can be intimidating, but Jane’s kind, expert, and encouraging guidance made learning both safe and enjoyable. Her structured yet flexible approach included twice-weekly lessons, insightful phone conversations about my goals and identity as an equestrian, and invaluable ongoing communication. She provided reading materials, crafted actionable plans, and instilled confidence at every step. Learning on her Grand Prix schoolmaster, Saturday—whom Jane had trained herself—was a privilege, offering hands-on experience in everything from grooming to horse management. This time with Jane and Saturday laid the foundation for what I know will be a lifelong passion for horses, riding, and dressage, for which I am profoundly grateful.
